Bryn Stewart

Bryn Stewart received her PhD in Environmental Engineering from Penn State University in 2023 and joined Caltech as the Foster and Coco Stanback Postdoctoral Fellow in Oct. 2023. Together with Prof. Woody Fischer in Geobiology, we will explore the role of vadose zone flow processes in shaping soil biogeochemical dynamics across scales.

Bryn will start her own group in January 2026, as an assistant professor in the Hydrology & Atmospheric Sciences at the University of Arizona
