New paper: wettability and Lenormand's diagram

How does a fluid's affinity to solid surface (termed wettability) impact its motion through a porous environment? The short answer: it's complicated!

In this new paper lead by Bauyrzhan Primkulov from MIT, published in Journal of Fluid Mechanics, we extends the classic Lenormand's diagram describing fluid-fluid displacement in porous media to include a third dimension: wettability effects.
