Our group works at the intersection of physics, applied mathematics, computation and geoscience. Our approach involves theory, modeling and laboratory experiments. We welcome applicants with strong background in any of these subjects and techniques.

Undergraduate Research Opportunities: undergraduate students, both at Caltech and other institutions, are encouraged to apply through the Caltech SURF program.
